May 5th commemorates the historic Battle of Puebla, when Napoleon's French troops tried to invade Mexico, and failed. So to mark Cinco de Mayo this year, why not wet your palette with a Mexican drink recipe?? Any excuse to drink right?? LOL!- 2 oz. Tequila (preferably gold)
- 1 oz. Amaretto Liqueur
- 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
- 1 oz. Raspberry Liqueur (schnapps optional)
- 1 oz. Lime juice
- 1 splash of Grenadine
Combine, mix, and serve on the rocks in a cocktail glass with a lime slice and umbrella -ella-ella!
