If you love vintage clothing like I do head down to Napoleon Bistro and Lounge (1847 Columbia Road NW). Listopad Vintage and artist Renee Glazer from Silver Spring has put together a limited-edition collection of vintage clothing hand-printed with original designs. The launch party is next Wednesday from 6-9 pm with DJ Jerome Baker III on the 1's and 2's! I hear great things about this spot and besides it's free to get in.
Ladies...we can never have too many dresses right?!? The Imagine boutique will showcase flirty, feminine cocktail dresses from Trina Turk's holiday collection. I love her dresses because they really seem to capture the essence of feminity. The showcase will be held next Thursday and Friday, from 11 -7 pm at 208 Boardwalk Place, Gaithersburg, MD.
~Oh and don't forget about TAX FREE SHOPPING in DC! No sales tax through 12/7 for clothing, shoes, and accessories costing 100$ per item or less. Hey we're in a recession and every little bit of savings counts! =)
