The owner Canada Gordon who grew up in DC moved to LA to pursue a film/TV career. She has worked on many different projects like Vanilla Sky, Thirteen, and Entourage! While in LA she developed a love for cupcakes and decided to return to DC to open a shop. The cupcakes will be sold for $3.25 each or $36 a dozen. With mouth watering names like Southern Belle (red velvet cake w/whipped cream cheese frosting)... I'm sure you will find a flavor you like! Red Velvet Cupcakery will open sometime in December 08' at 675 E St. NW. Check back for a firm opening date!!!!!!!!!!
