Is the week stressing you out enough already? As much as I LOVE to get together with friends to chat and drink. I think I might dedicate my Thursday night to some of the best parties in the city. Spot me out if you can. I'll be the one in the club giving you all things FLY, FIERCE, and FABULOUS!

THE PARK at FOURTEENTH

It's going to be alot of alcohol intoxication with limited consequences tonight as Joakim Noah & the Chicago Bulls host the Park. Oh and word on the street is DJ Quicksilva will be blessing the Park's speaker system. Now to get in the door you know this spot requires a certain "look." So fashionistas bring your "A" game. From clothes to shoes, to handbags to accessories, and everything in between!! EyeSPyZ wants to make sure you turn heads when ya step in the door.

Now if your so call "style" or "look" can't get you pass the guys at the front of the Park...you can always make your way to the Shadowroom, and party with two of DC's Hottest Promoters Dave & Ray, along with promoters Dr. Miles Gray & The Standard Events. <- Did I mention I'm a STAN? *wink* Anyways, Raheem Devaughn and Phil Ade will be there debuting their new videos for " I Don't Care" and "Hollywood." How many have a thirst or desire to see Tyrese or Lebron James?? Just your luck kiddos, both smart, sexy, and RICH guys will be in DC Thursday night. So here's the rundown...

Alot of promotion has been goin on for the Shadowroom. The King Lebron James is hosting and I'm pretty sure this is one party you don't want to miss! Lebron is in town celebrating (hypin his release) of “More than a Game.” The film looks into how he went from highschool to NBA stardom. Ray, Omari, Taz, and Mitch have been promotin the sh*t out of this party and word on the street is that all major ballas have tables!!! My suggestion is this get their EARLY (no later than 10pm) and look UBER haute. Make sure you RSVP (full name and email addy) to shadowroom@daveandray.com. Now the Shadowroom isn't very big so if you're not in the mood to sweat your hair out this is not the place you want to be. Especially since Lebron will be there and you know he has FEMALE and MALE groupies! If you prefer to be able to move around and not get bumped into, then make your way to the Park. Sense of humor, kindness, and intelligence are some things we all want in a mate. But yet we often don't want to admit that a nice PHYSICAL APPEARANCE is something we want as well. Personally I'm throwing all of that out of the window and going for LOOKS today cuz Devin Thomas of the Washington Redskins is hosting the Park THURSDAY night. He's definitely a GOOD LOOK! FINE is an understatement for this brotha!!! This makes up for the Park becoming 18 an up Sunday nights!! Park Friday's: No Longer INTERNATIONAL!

I really felt the need to write this post because not alot of people know that the Park is no longer International on Friday's! The Park has alot more to offer than just "cocktails in an attractive setting." But lately it's been a little weak. Most of the 21 and up crowd work M-F, and the majority want a grown and sexy weekend party! The Park used to be four levels of fun. However, my experience last Friday definietly wasn't that! I stayed until about 1:30 and there were only 3 floors open. No one really danced, and the crowd began to thin really early. I remember the Park being a place you would go and just imagine the kind of beauty, style, and fashion that was behind the velvet ropes at the front door. But if you were refused entry at this upscale place last Friday, rest assured: you didn't miss anything. My question is this: What happenened to the CROWD? What happened to the hip, sexy, attractive people who waited in line for hours to get in? I'll be back to the Park another Friday. I only hope that I don't find myself in a bland, conservative, lame crowd again!

Although the crowd was lackluster and the men were el lame-o, Marc Barnes sure knows a thing or two about hiring some eye candy aka bouncers! They grace the front door and each floor and I have yet to see a fugly one! Me like him and me like him too...(But I don't wish to eff 'em all...don't get down like Wayne & 'nem!) So if you're ever at The Park on a wack night ladies, trust me, the bouncers won't let you down! Fellas, if your job seems to be in jeopardy due to the influx of women pushing up on you...blame it on me! Just tell 'em Corre Caucha ;-)

I don't know how these kiddies do it during the week...but I'm here to keep you up on the latest weekday night spots. Cue my theme music..My favorites from top to bottom *wink*! Enjoy!

The DYNAMIC DUO Dave & Ray are at it again. The Shawdow Room is a must on Thursday's ..it attracts a zexy crowd and has given these other spots some major competition. It really raised the bar with emphasis on being an exclusive spot. It reminds me of a dark filled cave..but a really attractive and zexy one! I'm renaming it the Zexy Room! Now if you don't look stunning enough to get into the Zexy Room *giggle* you can always engage in recreation at The Park. Lately, the only thing this place has been offering are cocktails in an attractive setting! Maybe it's Thursday nite's promoters..who knows but head to it if you're up for a bunch of socializing and fake-me out networking. Hmm...networking.. makes me think of the guys promoting K Street Lounge tonight. Not saying any names but they been trying to make a couple of spots pop off but haven't had that much of a turnout! Is it their connections??? K Street just doesn't do it for me! But, at least there is open bar for LADIES (sorry guys) till 11pm! Get there early and DRINK up!.....Your thirst has officially bench quenched!

Gay or Extremely Pimpin!!

That's what one of my many EyeSPyZ said about Neyo last night at the Park. I sent him (hey I can't make every party in the city) to get the real scoop! It just so happened that my eyespy rolled up at the same time Neyo did at the Park. Neyo had a chauffeur driven Escalade ESV with 8 women piled inside! My eyespy was valet parking his whip when Neyo complimented his rims! He said, "thanks" and thought to himself....damn I must be ridin' good! Surprisingly he thought all the chicks were dimes!! He said, Neyo stayed and partied on the 4th floor the entire night. The Park wasn't as packed as it usually is so there was enough room to breathe and have fun. His experience at the Park was about a B-....he was just happy that alot of females were in the building.....LOL.

Whew what a night at the Park! We started off in the kitchen(lol there are cute chefs at the Park!)...and ended in VIP with the playboys. There were alot of ballers in the building..you know your usuals..Andray Blatche, and Clinton Portis (so cute in person)! Just about every floor of the club was packed like sardines in a can. You couldn't even dance it was so crowded. We finally managed to find enough room to sip on our drinks without someone slamming into us! After we finished our drinks me and my girl were trying to take some pics..you know to update our FB pages..ahaha. That's when I got my camera snatched by that little theif (jk) Andray Blatche. He invited us into his VIP section. I'm not going to say much but him and Portis know how to PARTY! The Park was cool last night..no fights and the crowd was nice.


I guess he thought he was "incognito?"

Fly Ladies...Need Not Apply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a recession people ( in the words of Ms. Eli D.)!!! Lately I've been looking for another part-time job. Yes...that would be 1 full time and 2 part time jobs! I came across an ad on craiglist advertising positions for hostesses and bartenders for The Park! We've all partied there and I thought this would be great for me since I've been clubbing since the age of 16! (like 4 real) So, I mention to one of my fellow EyeSPyZer (yes you've been recruited Jdub) that we should go to The Park and apply. He was game! I must say I was really torn about applying for this position because I've read ALOT about how they hire only light skin girls. Now I don't fall in that category (and I won't reveal my complexion cause that might reveal my identity..lol) but I figured I would be good since I got the whole "barbie" look going on! So we both go and apply, me for a hostess, and him for a bartender. We get there and it's like a casting call. We sit down fill out the application and they take your mugshot. Yeah a picture with a poloroid camera! (THE WORST, who looks good in a poloroid???) They tell us that they would contact us in two days. Well, the next day we both get an email stating that they couldn't offer a position but would keep our application on file. Were we surprised..NO! But my question is this what exactly is the Park looking for? How can they base job performance merely on how you look? The last time I was there...the people weren't exactly FLY in my eyes! I'm not gonna call anyone out, but less just say that there were a few men and women "WHO WEREN'T KEEPIN' IT TIGHT!" Anyone have the same experience? Email us!
